This study examines the effectiveness of support mechanisms and rehabilitation programs for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Algeria amid the rapid changes in the global economy. It highlights the challenges facing SMEs, such as lack of financing and limited access to markets, as well as the Algerian government's efforts to adopt initiatives aimed at promoting industrial growth and enhancing efficiency and productivity. The findings indicate that the effectiveness of these programs varies across sectors, with some initiatives achieving positive results while others encounter difficulties in implementation. The study emphasizes the importance of supporting SMEs as key contributors to entrepreneurship. Additionally, it recommends conducting a comprehensive analysis to identify gaps in the current system and to develop effective strategies that meet the needs of SMEs.
