Wage and the price of labour
Ivana Leitmanová
Acta Univ. Bohem. Merid. 1999, 2(1):5-19181
The theory says that the balance on labour market is achieved through a wage. Nevertheless, the reality is more complicated. For employers, the wage (paid in money and in kind), represents two thirds of labour costs. The issue specifically concerns the low qualified workers, especially in relation to minimum wage. The minimum wage is in the Czech Republic influenced by two factors. First, by the relation between minimum wage and average age. Second, from the national economy point of view, wages and salaries are part of employees compensations, their share on GDP is decisively influenced by the rate of economic growth and rate of inflation.

The paper deals with the mathematical modelling of some requirements that must be fulfilled at a choice of entrepreneurial intentions. The author mathematically formulates some special constraints and various types of the objective function in linear optimization models of entrepreneurial intentions with using binary variables. The improvement of the model technique by means of binary variables is illustrated by a simple concrete exam-ple.

Consumer behaviour models generally assume that product preferences find their basis in product attributes as perceived by consumer. By means of compositional approach of per-ceptual analysis, which uses product attributes perception we can find the underlying cognitive dimensions, i.e. words factors playing major role in consumer decision making. The contribution informs about analysis of per-ception of meat in the Czech Republic. The meat consumers exploration in the Czech Republic (CR) in 1998 was focused...
