In trade, as one of the important branches of the national economy, electronic commerce is being increasingly used (in particular its Internet form), as a specific business transaction. Development of the profit/loss of agricultural enterprises

Within recent ten years, authors of this paper have been regularly analysed with economic-statistical methods the profit/loss of a selected sample of farms producing in different climate-production conditions. Long-term tendencies based on this analysis and factors influencing these tendencies have been defined. The best profit loss within the whole period under investigation was reached in 2007. Analysis of the economy of farms with ecological agriculture in the light of profitability and risks

This paper presents the results of the assessment of profitability and risks of agricultural holdings with the ecological agriculture. The first part deals with the rate of profitability. These results indicated improving economic situation for both ecological and organic agricultural holdings. The values for ecological holdings started to overreach the values for conventional farms approximately in 2003. Overall accrued revenue reached 8.2% for ecological and 4.3 for conventional farm during 5 years of investigation. Market opportunities for organic foods as a local product

The article aims to discover further means of promoting the organic food in the market. The article analyses some results of the two questionnaire surveys and explores the costumers' and consumers' interest in both organic foods and regionally branded products. At the moment, it seems to be there a low interrelation between organic products and products with a regional brand. At the same time, there is a quite high interest of costumers in local food products.

Farming on grasslands and usage of agroenvironmental programs in organic farming in Czech Republic

Sustainable agriculture is supported by European Union, which have positive influence on development of organic farming of member countries. In Czech Republic is perceptible trend of increasing share of organic farming, whereas very important for this trend are subsidies. Even if these subsidies should be balanced for equable development of organic farming, in Czech republic dominates increasing of shares of grasslands and inhibition of usage of arable land. Article is focused on analysis of farming of selective file of farms with accent on farming on grasslands and use of agroenvironmental programs.

Half of the Czech Republic territory is covered by agricultural activities. It is not possible to evaluate the positive effects of ecological companies on landscape protection and its components and compare them with the grants concerning landscape protection. This article shows presentations and surveys of evaluation methods concerning the benefits of agricultural ecologisation in the field of institutions'role, willingness to pay, alternative costs etc.
