The cut flowers market potential in the Czech Republic

There is little information that would make clear the situation at the cut flowers market in Czech Republic nowadays. The knowledge of quantity of the specific product at the market is the main condition for any work at the market. The determination of the market potential is one of the main operations of the market analysis. The data that are necessary for the calculation of the quantity of market potential by questionnaires were obtained during 1998. The informants were chosen by the quota selection and their age and sex structure should correspond to Czech Republic age and sex structure. People from 10 to 84 year old were asked. Four hundred of informants took place in the research. Obtained dates helped to calculate the cut flower market potential, in the Czech Republic amounted 4 170 609 090 crowns in 1998.
