The study presents the methods of investigation and the main conclusions of the analysis of professional prospects of the graduates of the Agricultural Faculty, University of South Bohemia, in the years 1992-1997. The survey was carried out within the grant project of the Fund of universities development FR no. 426/98 in the year 1998. The study deals with the analysis of the prospects of the graduates of the Agricultural Faculty, including also their problems with unemployment and position at labour market. The inquiry carried out by means of questionnaires showed that the respondents usually work in a field different from the one that they actually studied. The majority had no problems with finding jobs and their prospects at labour market, when compared with graduates of other universities, are viewed as the same.
