Potatoes are one of many agricultural commodities whose realization on the market is connected with considerable swings. Growing areas were decreased, yield per hectare and the total annual production were very low, and potato prices substantially fluctuated. Equal opportunities for regions' development is one of objectives of Czech Republic's and European Union's regional policy in order to guarantee that their demographic, environmental and economic potential is used to the utmost degree. With the lowering of disparities of regions and strengthening their economic and social conditions resources from structural funds play substantive role.
