The paper analyzes results of an overall research in the statistical population of communities of the Vysočina Region 2007. Representatives of a sample by village sizes and by proportional representation of respondents was verified using statistical methods. Equipment of the villages is assessed in the paper, relationships between the determining conditions of inhabitants' life and the community size and their appertainment to a country. A differentiation by country has been performed for significant variables using the sign test. Statement of factors affecting the maintenance of communities within the countryside space can be taken the result of the study.

Applicability of time series combined models in forecasting the regional labour market indicators

The paper has a methodological character. It deals with possibilities of univariate time series models use in forecasting the regional labour market indicators. The main attention is focused on methodology for combining forecasts from different individual procedures. Forecasting performances of both individual and combined models are examined on a set of real time series of indicators of South Bohemia Region. The findings of an empirical comparative analysis demonstrate that forecast accuracy can be considerably improved through the combination of two or three individual forecasts.

The article deals with part of marketing research with participation of nearly thousand organizations in four regions of the Czech Republic. The research was aimed to perception of cooperation with universities in field of knowledge of graduates. The questions for organization were aimed to satisfaction with structure of profession offers of universities, possibilities to influence the offers and personal planning. Preferences of knowledge of graduates are very inspiring in view of potential future employers.
Unemployment development in municipalities of the micro-region of Strakonice

In the period of 2002-2006, observations of the unemployment development in municipalities situated in less favourable areas (hereafter LFA) of the micro-region of Strakonice and in other municipalities of the micro-region outside of the LFA. The aim of the observations was to determine whether it is possible to predict that the unemployment rate in the LFA is higher than in municipalities outside the LFA. Using spectral analysis, a quality model has been found allowing us to predict and compare unemployment in both groups of municipalities.

Conducted analysis point out that agriculture together with the food industry belong to the most important industries of the national economy as well as to the largest industries offering working opportunities in Slovakia. These facts point out the importance of agriculture in the national economy. The share of agriculture on the GDP in the time range 2000-2006 has been continually increasing (except for 2003). Financial health assessment of agricultural enterprises with ecological farming

This paper presents the outcomes of financial health assessment of agricultural enterprises with ecological farming. First part of this paper deals with overall indicators of financial health. Costs in the agricultural enterprises in connection with controlling system

We analyse the development of total own costs in two formed sets of agricultural enterprises in this paper. We compare the analysis in both sets and we specify an important problem which results from the analysis - high total own costs. We propose the alternative of the allocation precising of total own costs for products by using the Activity Based Costing Method instead of traditional calculation methods own costs. The principle of this Method lies in double-stage allocation of the own costs, which will enable to identify the hidden reserves and to improve the enterprise efficiency.

Analysis of bio-food sales - specialized stores of "Health nutrition"

The article summarizes outcomes of a questionnaire survey that was made within specialized stores of "healthy nutrition" in the South Bohemia. The aim of the survey was to determine bio-assortment and structure of suppliers, and to evaluate a level of co-operation between suppliers and the mentioned specialized stores. The questionnaire focused also bio-food promotion and services related to its sales and provided by sellers. Other questions concentrated to opinions on expected tendency of the Czech bio-food market as well as on possibilities to introduce regional products in the offer of specialized stores of "healthy nutrition".

Data envelopment analysis (DEA) is used as a tool for technical efficiency evaluation of decision-making units. The units are compared with each other, which means to compare inputs, outputs and evaluate their efficiency. In case of non-efficiency unit, we can ordain necessary changes for achievement of efficiency using the DEA methods. One of the necessary conditions for using basic DEA methods is non-negativity. If that condition is not satisfied, it is not possible to use the basic DEA methods and common software. Then, it is necessary to create a new tool.

The fundamental practical contribution of my article is the completion of a management model of claim turnover whereof its implementation enables to enhance the productive force of the business entity and prevents the occurrence of a secondary insolvency of the enterprise.
