This paper deals with problems connected with the present economic slow-down in the "old" EU member states. We all hope that the integration of new member states into the EU will bring a new impetus for European production and trade. The position of operative leasing in fleet management

This article is orientated on accomplishment of comparative analysis of chosen alternatives in fleet management in road cargo transport. Actually it deals with the comparison of operative leasing of the fleet with individual administration in conditions of food distribution. The analysis is concentrated on comparison of total costs for both alternatives in define term and contains the summary of all assets and risks with the respect of all logistical and economical priorities.

The contribution deals with partial results of marketing research ordered by company Krahulík a.s. The traders find for their future decisions as important following information: place of decision of purchase, information about the product, signing, colour and origin. The price and its decreasing is important too for consumers' preferences. We can see that for consumer is most important the quality, flavour and carcass of meat, but price and influence of promotion is not so important. There is relation between price - quality and consumers prefer our to foreign products.

For a healthy development of tourism and all activities in the frame of this industry in the region it is necessary to harmonize the incomes and all effects of this branch with the quality of life of the local people and the aspects of environment protection. The guests require a certain level of service difference and variety, which could not be financed only by the locals. The negative aspects of mass tourism e.g. transport pollution and seasonal price increase, must be balanced by positive sides of tourism. For this task it is necessary to find a complex solution of this situation - destination management.
