The Science and Technology Parks are organizations oriented into area of research, technologies and innovations. They utilize their know-how for establishing presumptions for dynamic development of innovations firms, for transfer of technologies and education for co-workers of innovations entrepreneurships. The Science and Technology Parks mean respected way to the fasted overcame of technological backwardness and acquirement of market competitiveness. Next aim is creation of new perspective work opportunities in an active employment policy. The Science and Technology Parks are also aimed for help and support for small and medium sized firms.

The article is presenting results of analysis realized within the research programme at the Faculty of Agriculture of JU MSM6007665806 focused on bioproduction in the mountains and on the foothills in South Bohemia (ecological system of farming). Reverse logistics in industry developed rapidly in last years. It concerns the material flow of products which cannot be longer exploit according to their original designation (old products, defect products etc.). They are collected, sorted and recycled for their exploitation in the next production cycle.In animal production a similar flow is created by dead animals or parts of dead animals from slaughterhouses or meat processing firms. In the frame of this project, the application of the SEUROP system for slaughter cattle in 2003 and 2004 years was investigated. The 29 990 heads were examined. The attention was laid on the particular classis, their quantity, average slaughter weight and its relationship to the fleshed and over-fat during monitored period. The average slaughter weight of the whole population was 319.6 kg, what is 23-29 kg higher then republic average value. Evaluation of efficiency of pig farms

Pig production is a very important branch around the world. The paper deals with technical efficiency of pig farms using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). DEA is a technique for measuring of relative performances of different production units, where the presence of multiple inputs and outputs makes comparison difficult. Besides evaluation of efficiency, the article is concentrated on an application of the Super Efficiency model. This model is aimed at the comparisons of effective units to each other.

One from basic problems of every economy is rising of the number of unemployed. State defends this trend by its active or passive employment policy, and after entrance to the EU also by the help of pumping financial resource from ESF. Evaluation of development of the number of unemployed in single Czech regions and their prediction to the future by the help of statistical methods is important means for decision making of appropriate organs, where would had direct the help. The aim of research was to specify definite factors of corporate culture, typology of corporate culture connected to strategy of human resources management. HDP as a basic indicator of regional competitiveness in Czech Republic with orientation on South Bohemia

There is evaluated the level of competitiveness of particular districts with using GDP per capital and its decomposition with orientation on position of South Bohemia district in the article. We used spot method for obtaining of order of districts according the chosen indicators. The South Bohemia district was places on sixth position and reached 44 % level of Prague as the best district in Czech Republic.

Contribution to evaluation methodology of regional competitiveness

Basic methodological approach to regional competitiveness evaluation applies system situational analysis. Its results are usually structured into four lists, i.e. strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats of SWOT matrix. Strategic goals and objectives including appropriate interventions are then formulated within this basis. Author suggests complete current methodological framework by graphic onion model of regional competitive advantage and disadvantage.
